If you see this error while installing a theme on your Wordpress then YOU HAVE TO EXTRACT THE ZIP FILE.
Sometimes we have to put multiple files and folders inside one file so we put multiple files inside one zip file.
Note: Installable file extension for Wordpress is ZIP. You'll get the theme.zip file inside the main zip file or inside a theme folder.
